I really need help choosing. Please?

I've really been thinking about taking some drawing courses lately. It's always been in the back of my mind to learn some proper technique, instead of just putting pencil to paper, and hoping what I picture to try and draw gets translated to paper. I won't go on and on with 'woe me' because I've already done that in an earlier entry. ;p (and I really just can't be bothered.)

I've found a place that I think can really teach me a lot. The thing is they hold both foundation and practical (advanced) drawing classes. What I'm looking for an opinion on is which one to take. My mum doesn't even want me to do it, and my friends are all slightly biased and are either to critical or not enough to help me decide. I also don't want to pay $175 to learn what I'm already capable of, but more so I don't want to pay $350 and it be to advanced for me.

Here are the links to both the foundation and practical courses;

Practical

Here is also my DeviantArt page to show what I'm able to do already. (You'll notice I draw in a lot in the same perspective, which is what I'm trying to improve on)

So I'd really like some unbiased opinions on what I'd be best off choosing.

P.S. I'd like to note that this post has nothing to do with the icon I've chosen to use. I just recently found a screen-cap of Colin Morgans part in the Catherine Tate Christmas Special, where he's 'a gay man now' and I really couldn't help myself from making an icon of it, and using it for no apparent reason other that his expression and edible penises are 'Win!!'
